Thanks to the support of SLC’s ACE Fund and University Neighborhood Partners, NHH-UT is hosting it's inaugural Nature and Health Community Fair!

This is the first-ever Nature and Health Community Fair event, so I am sure you have lots of questions! If one of your questions is not answered here, please reach out to us at natureandhealthgroup@gmail.com.

  • The goal of this event is to highlight the many ways to embrace nature, highlight organizations that are improving access to the outdoors, and promote the health benefits of being outside.

    • Outdoor movement class

    • Plant potting tutorial

    • Kids arts and crafts

    • Learn from nature and health organizations in SLC

    • AND MORE!

  • The fair is for anyone who is interested in learning about the health benefits of spending time with nature and anyone who would like ideas and suggestions for ways to interact with nature.

  • Yes! There will be activities dedicated to kiddos.

  • Yes! There are so many ways to connect with nature other than hiking or camping. Sitting outside and watching the sunset, nurturing a house plant, or drawing a picture of natural space are all ways to connect with nature. During this fair, we will be focusing on accessible ways to benefit from nature.
