SLCgreen is Hiring for Summer Inters!

SLCgreen is hiring part-time interns to support our sustainability education and outreach efforts this summer! This is a great opportunity for anyone with a passion for sustainability and an interest in public service. Flexible part-time schedule (up to 20 hrs/week). This is a paid internship, compensated at $15/hr Applications close April 3rd, 2024

Camping in Color Story Hour

Walking the Watershed is a series of guided walks along the waterways of the Great Basin bioregion. Participants are invited to join an experienced guide for a 2 hour walk at a leisurely pace. Our purpose is to gather and listen to the water in a way that will foster and repair our relationships with the sentient, intelligent presence of water bodies.

Utah Outdoor Recreation UORG Grants Now Open!

The 2024 Outdoor Recreation Grant (UORG) application is now open until March 15th 2024. This year, state and federal agencies can now apply for UORG: (Regional Asset, Teir 1, Mini-Grant).

Nationwide Needs Assessment

The Collective for Nature Immersion Science and Practice (cNISP) is looking for organizations that encourage people to get outside as a tool to improve various aspects of their well-being to participate in their needs assessment, which aims to support practitioners’ capacity in this area of work. They deeply value your input! cNISP is a research group at Colorado State University that facilitates collaboration between practitioners and researchers working at the intersection of nature immersion and human health and well-being.
